The Lorraine Motel more than just the site of the tragic assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It was also located a block away from Stax Records hosting the likes of Isaac Hayes, Arether Franklin, Tina Turner, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and a host of Other entertainers of the 1960s.
